Change MS is a new 501c3 nonprofit organization, our vision is to provide a central location to source and funnel helpful information by utilizing all unbiased resources, and other health-conscious organizations to encourage others to in being proactive toward your symptoms.

WNY has one of the highest diagnosis rates of Multiple Sclerosis in the world, and not many know much about it. Change MS was created to help people feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. We want to give you the resources and support to help you experience MS as a more uplifting, positive experience.

I never felt so abandoned April 2, 2014

The time of diagnosis is crucial to have a plan of attack in place and a support system to help guide you through and not be left alone to fend for yourself. We are a nonjudgmental group who came together filling a void that was not there for us.

When I was diagnosed I never felt so abandoned, alone, and there were not many who could relate to what I was experiencing. I couldn’t help ask the question, “now what”? Change MS was formed with those feelings in mind.

We will be working with a few select points of interest; such as: UB MS Stem Cell research program, Women and Children’s MS pediatric center, The MS society, The Wahls foundation, and the Buffalo Wellness Center. We are selective in where we distribute our assets, ensuring to keep it in the same lines as our mission with health and wellness.

We will donate the funds we raise to help with efforts toward the good fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Change MS will be a valuable resource in living to your fullest potential. Collectively we can CHANGE MS

Being focused on negative thoughts effectively saps the brain off. It slows it down, and can go as far as dimming your brain’s ability to function, negative thoughts can even create long term depression. On the flip side, thinking positive, happy, hopeful, optimistic, joyful thoughts decreases cortisol and produces serotonin, which creates a sense of well-being. This helps your brain function at peak capacity. During this class you will work with various motivational speakers that will inspire you to be the change you want to see.

Your Greens Chef will be Barbara Ulrich, a “whole foods, plant-based diet enthusiast” who has been loving this lifestyle for over 3 years, preparing delicious meals for family and friends. ( Blender and book will be given to each attendee) Class size is limited to 15 people. After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2008, Barb turned her attention to learning and practicing holistic healing. She is an alumni of the Hippocrates Health Institute’s Life Transformation Program. She uses holistic care of Reiki, Acupuncture, Massage, Healing Touch, Colon Hydrotherapy, Yoga and Meditation to maintain vibrant health.


CHANGE MS was created by, directed and inspired by people with Multiple Sclerosis and those affected by MS. Our objective is to allocate all available resources, advocate, educate, and raise funds for needed research, services, and program development to provide a better understanding and future outlook for those living with MS, as well as to empower anyone who may be affected.
